This is a close one. And tough to choose cause I can see either winning.

Ohio State 34
Oregon 31

I'm done under estimating OSU but since they are my second least favorite fan base (behind UofL)....

Oregon 31-OSU28

wish Ohio would get rolled, also my 2nd most disliked program/fanbase/coach in college

but unfortunately I think they win. Too much coaching edge, Oregon missing some important players now late.

Ohio 37
Oregon 34

I hate OSU more than I hate Louisville. I like right across the bridge from Ironton, OH and it Sucks!! I hope the Ducks crush the worthlesas nuts!! The farther north you get into Ohio the worse it gets.

I really hope I am wrong, because I think Urban runs an outlaw program, all the things he had going on at UF and players didn't miss a single snap is really sleezy. But Oregon is missing too many of their weapons and tOSU has been able to get in more practice time because of when classes restarted, all advantages point to tOSU, but I hope Oregon wins.

I hate Ohio State, but unfortunately I think they're going to win tonight. Urban Meyer is too good and he's been in this situation before. Hope I'm wrong!

Buckeyes: 41
Ducks: 37

I hope everyone in this thread is wrong including me except Kapitol. I rather have a root canel that watch the Buckeyes win it.

think it will be an entertaining game, both offenses will make big plays. I'll be shocked if either team is held under 30 points.

lord wish they would schedule these for Sat nights though, a late Monday in january sucks. us cpas are busy this time of year.

Oregon...because the good guys need to win again. They vanquished one evil, now they must do it again for the good of America, the world, the whole damn galaxy and universe!

Don't care for either team but here goes:

UO 42
OSU 28

Just have a feeling Ducks will be too fast for Ohio State to keep up with.

Ohio St's big uglys are impressive. If they can handle Oregons quick tempo,I like their chances.

How long has it been since you had a root canal, are you getting forgetful?

I have some mixed emotions, and a hard time deciding who I think will win the game, but I think OSU has the advantage now. There are some pluses and minuses in who I want to win the game, I have relatives that migrated to Ohio centuries ago that I like, OSU winning makes Bama (and the SEC) look better, if OSU wins Meyer recruits more nationally maybe leaving better talent for UK, etc.

But more reasons for me to want OSU to lose, and I hope they do. I will probably bet a small amount on OSU and hope I lose the money.

I would've said Oregon by a couple touchdowns, but with them having one of their go to guys out and using third string QB, IDK.

Oregon 42
OSU. 38

No way I can pick OSU

I hope the red and silver of ohiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiio st loses 80--0 Unfortunately, i see them winning 38-34. If so, this will be one of those seasons when the best team didn't win the championship.

Really hope it's Oregon- love the Quack Attack but I feel OSU is on a roll and they win.

At the annual UK alumni letterman golf outing I briefly met a young man who works for the athletic department in recruiting compliance. ( Sorry I forgot his name) So he really had his finger on the pulse of recruiting. He stated they hope OSU wins the national championship soon and often, for the following reasons.

1. Urban Meyer can win the Big Ten every year by dominating recruiting in Ohio, but to win the National Championship he will need to get a large share of the top players on a national basis.

2. Every player Meyer recruits outside of Ohio leaves another in this football rich state up for grabs.

3. Stoops has proved he can sell Ohio recruits on the concept of playing in the SEC and still be close to home, especially here in Cincinnati. The staff has proven they can compete against Cincinnati and the other the Big Ten for three and four star Ohio players.

4. If OSU wins the national championship top players from across the country will want to go to OSU. Since Meyer is limited to 25 schollys a year, each one signed out of state leaves another Ohio player for us to recruit. Stoops knows he has a better chance of recruiting top players in Ohio than locking horns in the deep south with the powers of the SEC.

The UK football staff has no illusions about us winning the SEC and making the final four playoffs. However they do know that a winning season, beating Louisville, and minor bowl games are within reach and can be accomplished on a regular basis. They see our long term success tied to the long term success of OSU. So we are better off Ohio State wins tonight.

UK8, hilarious that Oregon is the 'good guys.' Based on what?

Well, I guess Ohio State doesn't have to hear about 'SEC speed' anymore. They earned their title. Pretty fun to watch.
