What does everyone think so far?

Strengths?

Weaknesses?

@Rembrandt90 this is about opinion. I do not mean to steal your thunder. You do an awesome job and I do not want to railroad your info and opinion. Hopefully, you understand what I am saying

1. Love the defensive side of this class. We have a plethora of LBers (which we had to have), Smith twins and BRobinson are incredible gets at 4 star Dline/Jack lbers. My only selfish hope is to get a huge nose guard to finish it off if we can get in on one.
2. Offensive side is always a good year to get a stud QB....Boley fits that perfect for UK and fits Coen system is even bigger. A good TE prospect. A good RB and solid WR kids.

The only downside is we need offensive tackles like really bad and we are not getting those kids. I'd argue interior LBers, QB and offensive tackles were the biggest need. And we've got the Lbers, QB...but the tackles are what is not making this class a slam dunk success. I suspect Marrow/Stoops will be working to flip some kids and scourage for kids that want to compete for immediate PT at tackles.

Are you assuming we get Robinson? He hasn’t committed yet right?

Really good OTs are hard to get. Everyone will take a really good OT, it's hard to compete with the "big boys" especially since NIL for a kid everyone in the country wants and tackles definitely fit that description.

Tackles have been a scarce commodity for a long time. Most teams convert a TE or something else, legit straight up tackles have always been a issue to sign by everyone not just us.

This class as is, would rate as the best compared to all from 1978-2013, and is likely in the top half of Stoops efforts since 2013.

Add just two or three major targets, and we can argue if it is the best in 50 years.

IMO. We still need Smith, Robinson, 2- OTs and maybe another WR/CB with length

Positives:
-Absolutely love the top of the class. Best front 7 I have seen Kentucky take.
-Land Smith and Robinson then this staff won a couple big boy recruitments over some legit powers.
-Boley has the potential is a super high upside QB prospect.
-Hardley Gilmore is a legit WR prospect and has SEC level speed.

Negatives:
-Big whiff in the OT class again. It's not a great class but the issues recruiting one of the most important positions is super concerning.
-Outside of Gilmore there is a lack of playmakers. Mizell has a ton of red flags. Georgia "mutually parted ways", his ranking has tanked over the last year and a half, and now he is hurt Washington is a step down from the other receivers we have taken and has not made any noise playing high level high school football
-Antwan Smith, Steven Soles, Caleb Redd, Lorenzo Cowan and Elijah Groves all kind of play the same position so I don't really understand the logic in taking all of these players. The thought must have been someone could move either inside to middle linebacker or bulk up to play DE but we already have a ton of talent there. IMO scholarships could have been used on another corner/safety, a true X receiver, a tackle, or noseguard.
