I meant any games this weekend?

I just saw the starting lineup on Twitter. Ritter is leading off??? I figured it would be Jump but he’s #2.

Looks a good bit different than I thought it might. Ritter led off the fall game, so I thought it was possible he could be there. Not sure how I feel about it.

Then 4, 5, 6 is a surprise. Not who is there, but just the order of them. Would moreso expect it to be Anu, Fogel, Estep, but we'll see how it works out.

You know what sucks. Look at the crowd for the Mississippi State game. Opening game on a Friday afternoon. And the place is almost full. Kentucky rarely draws crowds like that.

I was a student for one year when they had the Cliff. It was 2018 and the team was solid. It was crazy the number of students that would go to the weekend games and hang out at the Cliff. Loved the energy and when the game was close the students got into it. If they ever wanted students to get back into they are going to have to sell beer and create a student section. Otherwise it’s just too far and lacks the “party” that the old stadium Cliff had.

It's bland and doesnt provide a good fan experience.
Not sure I agree. Like others I would like to see beer sales. But beyond that we have played every season dealing with covid and with bad teams. Let's get past the pandemic ( almost there, thankfully) and put a good team on the field and things will be much livelier at KPP

I think the fans will certainly come. UK fans love baseball, especially when we're good. However, I still think that KPP is kind of bland and doesn't do a great job with fan experience. No student deck or party type area is a big part of that.

I like the new park, but the rock seating was a horrible idea. No one wants to sit there, it's uncomfortable. They should have either created more seats or made it a grassy area. Even concrete would be better than the rocks.

I like the idea if tying it to KY, but it's not great. But I think it's really a lawn chair spot and not a sit on the rocks type spot. But it's just a field. Nothing great or unique about it really.

If you don't have ESPN Plus you really should get it if you are into the second tier UK sports. I watched every volleyball game on there this season. Every baseball game is on it.

You can get almost every UK baseball game with just SEC network.

Now that you mention it, I think you are right. If you have SEC Network in your cable package you get SEC Network Plus. We went through this for the Chattanooga football game and 2 basketball games. Still, it's streaming only.

I agree 100%. I had to sit there for one game and very uncomfortable. One of the worst ideas UK Athletics has came up with.

#3 Vanderbilt drops the series to #7 Oklahoma State.
#9 Florida loses its series at home to Liberty.
#12 East Carolina gets swept at home by Bryant.
#13 Notre Dame loses to Delaware.
#20 UC Irvine loses its series to Louisiana.

Some interesting results this weekend. God, college baseball is great.

Former UK player Jake Thompson had a pretty big weekend against Vandy. Marsh also pitched 3 scoreless against them.

Lots of big time games this weekend that went crazy. ECU getting swept is the biggest to me.

It’s still too early to see. The good teams with quality coaches will get better every week.

That's a rough start for Louisville. They played Charlotte, South Florida, and UConn and lost to the last two, and only beat Charlotte 8-7, a 9th inning home run bringing Charlotte within 1.

Pitchers had an ERA above 5 and their hitters averaged around .264. So, definitely not ideal against average opponents.

They have definitely taken a step back the last few years, especially in pitching. That is unusual for Roger Williams.
