Yeah at this point man, just beat LSU, make it to Friday of the SEC tourney and get a tourney win so pope can get over that hurdle and go attack the portal full speed
This season already ends for me
So just get a 4-5 seed in tournament, win first round and then hit hard at the portal before other winning power programs remaining in the tournament

I like him a lot too. I just don't want people make excuses for him if he isn't able to adjust. Hell, UNC just gave Hubert an extension when they should be telling him to take a walk.
I want Pope to succeed here. He has the right temperament with fans. Seems to be a solid X and O guy.
What I don't want is for us to not hold him to the same standards because he's a former player. Too much cultism and figurehead worship in society right now. And that NO place in UK Basketball. Now, if the man rattles of 4 titles here like Rupp did he can suck for half a decade and walk out in a robe and slippers lol.

Dude this is Kentucky and our fans are well known for putting undue expectations on our players and coaches. Pope will be no different but we are also realistic fans and understand the really hard position Pope was put in this year.
