I haven’t seen anyone talking about the throw Levi’s missed to Brown on the goal line. I think we may well have scored on that play. Not knocking Levi’s just saying that would of been nice to score there. It was a great call.

The play set up good and Brown had a blocker and a little hole but Levis had to much on it and it was a little to much in front of Brown for him to catch it and make a move. I feel like if he had of caught it his momentum would have made him fall forward it was thrown so hard.

Will wasn’t perfect, but the o line was bad for most of the game and he took an absolute massive shot, I’ll give him credit for closing out the game mostly mistake free and forget the other misgivings considering the outcome.
I am a big Levi’s fan not meant as a knock on him. Just saying that play probably would have scored or at least been a first down. #LOVLEVIS

I don't think it is a negative. I saw a lot of potential in the concept. It was a very "NFL" play call, and if we can execute it at full speed sometime this season we are all gonna be very happy.

I just knew this thread was going to be about the perfect 60 yd bomb to Key for the TD. What was I thinking?
🙄
That was a great throw. I was just thinking no one brought up that throw loved the call down there. Love Will just off a little there I hope we do that throw more often. When our Oline gives Will time he almost always delivers the goods.

We havnt come close to seeing levis at his best.

That's the best part so far. Getting ws. Hopefully 4 before a next big test and by then should have C Rod and an offensive line that has geled a little

Loved Coach Scan's playcalls thus far....but not in love with 3rd & goal inside the 5 flanker screen selection

Pick play to a TE. Levis roll out pass run option. Spread 5 wide QB draw.

Bottom line is we left a lot on the field, we aren't playing our best football and yet...we throttled #12 Florida in the Swamp in front of 90,000 rabid fans. We absolutely got in the head of AR-15 and he probably will have nightmares about this game all season long.

Imagine what we can do with a complete team.

After watching it again, it looks more like a miscomunication/timing/read as opposed to a horrible throw.

Fast forward to the 1:40:15 mark

If TE Dingle was getting up field a little more to engage a defender, Brown could've been turning up field a little more.

I'm not saying it was a perfect throw, but if both Dingle and Brown were 1-2 yards up field, it would've hit Brown right in stride, and he would've gotten the first down if not a TD.

Dangerous throw almost parallel to the LOS with a lot of traffic. If you are going to throw it the ball has to be on a rope. Too many guys who could get a hand on it.

That's what I'm saying, unnecessarily dangerous and complicated play on 3rd & goal.

Shortest distance between two points is a straight line. Levis draw or Wright power.

Someone was out of position, 2 receivers just never should be that close together, those things are easy to clean up. Loved the call, better execution coming soon, just our 2nd game.

Missed Harris in the 3rd to last drive wide open for a td. Same drive, if Magwood makes a block on the screen we probably score as well. It all worked out though.
