One target to the RBs and TEs today after 3 quarters

Does that make any sense at all? Wouldn't TEs keep Iowa's LBs occupied and perhaps open up some running lanes because, God knows, McClain isn't going to break any tackles? Iowa, whose offense is putrid, also, today, has certainly targeted their TEs but we've yet to even throw one pass towards a TE, much less complete one. And throw to the backs once in a while to keep LBs busy? Guess not.

The OL is terrible and we need the extra men on the line to help with blocking.
Maybe we don't if Iowa's LBs have to respect the RBs and TEs ability to catch a pass. With all the talent supposedly in the TE room, we threw one pass to a TE and that was very late in the 4th quarter.

Exactly. Unfortunately kattus was out injured and Upshaw transferred out

Maybe this is what you get when the WR coach is calling the plays. His guys were gonna get theirs today ... well, up until they didn't.

And Dingle and Cummings are not good blockers either.
Have not watched the replay of the sickening game but remember one running play in particular Cummings did not touch the man he was suppose to block and it was a loss. Cox got pushed aside one time and it cost us. We just need to keep bringing in proven veterans all over the field and if some of these guys aren't tough enough, mean enough or willing to work hard enough lifting weights and get in top shape then it is on them.
