Will the ESPN film "One and not Done" hurt or help Calipari in recruiting?

Hard to say without seeing it. Depends on how he is painted overall when its over. But without seeing it I would guess that it will help.

I didn't really like any of your options. I don't necessarily think it'll help "a lot" because, quite frankly, that's not really possible. We have the number 1 recruiting class every year anyway. I think what it'll hopefully help with is the public perception of Calipari, possibly with a few of the sports writers as well, but I don't know if it'll necessarily impact recruiting. Not sure it'll have that huge of an impact as I don't know how many people watch 30 for 30 on a Thursday night, but that's about all I see out of it.

I really hope the shine a light on the charity work the players do and we hear from the players, themselves talking about how he prepares them to be a man. That will make the haters slink away to bed.

Every 30 for 30 is very well done. It will tell a great story. It'll tell us UK fans that he is phenomenal and leave just a little meat on the bone for the haters to continue to hate. It'll be very well done, but won't be anything we don't already know. Nothing earth shattering, but the exposure can't hurt.

If you're a social media user, just be ready for the snark and attacks tonight. Doesn't matter what the 30 for 30 shows, people's minds were made up on John Calipari a long time ago.

I'd have to agree. Haters will spin it that he's being given an unfair advantage with this show, etc. etc. I like seeing haters squirn, however, so bring it on.

Yeah during a coach cal 30 for 30 they will highlight Cals charity work, you do know ESPN made this right? You might see the call from Obama about hati, but they'll say he did it for skal, which may or may not be true.

That's why I think it would be hard as hell to live in the public eye and deal with constsnt lies and slander and misconceptions about you.
