I suggested AAU ball is killing Kentucky with the level of players coming out of high school today and was blasted. I just can’t understand why I’m the only person who believes kids are not learning to play basketball in high school anymore. Look at all the so called… one and done schools. Duke…will scrape into the tournament. North Carolina….. NIT. UK….NIT. Kansas….6 seed. Arkansas has 2 freshmen guards that are going in the 1st round of the NBA draft…..NIT also probably. It is so blatantly obvious to me that kids coming out of high school may be athletes but can’t play a lick of organized ball. You simply can’t build a roster with freshman one and done guys any more.
