One and Doesn’t Work Anymore

Don’t care how good a teenager will be at the next level- with NIL and 5th years, etc upperclassmen will be better in the college game now. All the all Americans were seniors. AND…

We had Antonio Reeves.

So no excuses. Especially with whatever that garbage was.

Add that in with the top of the top freshman dont even play college anymore- they play for Overtime elite or whatever. You actually have to coach and adjust.

It does get you one and done in the tournament.

Even when CCC had one of his more experienced teams last year with the returning NPOY Oscar, Reeves, Toppin, Wheeler all seniors, Cal still could not get the job done. In general, I do believe College Basketball teams are better with experience and any coach that wants to succeed needs a balanced roster of experience and talent. Cal routinely does less with more and his ways just don't work anymore.

He's had the most veteran teams. He's had the most talented team. He's had a blend of freshman talent and veterans. It doesn't matter.

Both of those schools now have as many wins in the NCAA tournament as we do in the last 3 years.

It doesn't matter if we have one and done or all seniors.

Cal does NOT make in game adjustments. He thinks in game adjustments are "substitution patterns".

He doesn't scout, he doesn't practice against a zone. That's why we looked lost.

It does NOT matter the personnel that Cal has anymore.

We need a coach who cares about the University and who actually loves and coaches the game with a massive will to win.
