Tyler and Briscoe bring the fire every single game. Lee is not far behind.
Poythress is still meek at times, but he's not as bad as he used to be, and I think this is about what we can expect with his personality.
But our two most talented players both have big problems.
Skal is a nice kid with some nice offensive tools, but he is the softest post we've had in at least a decade and doesn't even attempt to establish a territory near the basket.
And Murray - it sounds crazy to say about a freshman guard averaging 15 4 and 3, but he's half assing it. He takes too many low% shots, often early in the clock, and doesn't seem to wanna hear it from Cal when he wastes a possession that way. Boogie would argue back, the Twins would scowl, but at least they absorbed his words. Murray seems to just let them bounce off. His defense ebbs and flows with the vibe of the game.
He should be the best player on the court in every game except when we play LSU.
He has the talent to be first team AA if he decides to lock in. But nobody can force him to do it, not even Cal.
