Ole Miss taking the UNC*** route in NCAA NOA response

Every school should do it. The ones that admit to anything are stupid. UNC has given the playbook.

Yep, I think we will (should) start seeing every school fight tooth-n-nail w/ the NCAA going forward.

Hugh Freeze and his coaching staff should just start handing out cash to random students at Ole Miss, then, they can say that "all students benefitted from this, not just athletes, so therefore it's not an issue."

Might just work if it was students in a particular class. Would be difficult to document just random students getting cash.

Has UNC documented any random students driving free rental cars paid for by Fats the drug dealer? If not that seems a lot like an extra benefit provided to the basketball players to me. Why is the media not bringing this up when UNC brings up the "these classes were for all students" argument? It is like this is being swept under the rug.

Not only do it, but basically say "Well, UNC did it, so we're gonna go that route".

How pathetic this entire situation has become. To protect one school, they've now opened pandora's box. The UNC situation, and other schools joining in, could be footnotes in the downfall of the NCAA.

I've not read the documents, but this is baffling to me as well, as the whole Wheels for Heels program has effectively gone away as far as I can tell. What gives? o_O

Wow. Love it.

The sign of a great magician...watch the left hand while the right hand does the magic. UNC has diverted everything away from the thing that can't be construed as anything but an extra benefit by saying the classes were available for everyone. It has worked with the media lets just hope the NCAA hasn't forgotten about the extra benefits.

But seriously, I haven't read the report. Is there ANY mention of these things in the latest NCAA response?

But the tards screwed themselves by self-imposing the postseason ban.

True. I was referring more to the blame being laid on one rogue employee than the self imposed sanctions vs. UNCheats delaying tactics.
