Ole Miss taking it to Arkansas right now

Ole Miss has had some nice wins but bad losses. Obviously gave us a hell of a game.

27-12 they're looking good so far. they have good players whether they win or lose here. summers, moody, white is a fine combo. then they have coleby and mario van peebles for forwards. they have good talent.

They're shooting about 85% lol. Refs missed a call on the 3 pointer at the buzzer though...ball was clearly still in his hand.

This would be a backbreaking loss for us

This has been a strange game. The announcers arent even at the game, they're back in Bristol, CT. Also they only have 2 officials for this game because the third official pulled a hamstring in warmups. Not making that up.

IMO the game would be better if there were only 2 refs all the time. # refs calling too many calls makes the game slow down. This games been fun to watch.

The more SEC I watch I am starting the think the gap between 2-14 isn't that big. I thought LSU would be a top 4 team in league play and they lose at home to A&M. Will anyone besides UK have more than 11 wins?

I would sure as heck hope so, but who knows at this point.

Pretty shocking as Arkansas is projected by many to be in the 5/6 seed range right now and they usually don't lose at home.

Long way to go only at halftime but 52-40 is shocking right now.

Ole Miss obviously can shoot the 3. They have shot it well now in 3/4 SEC games. If they had shot halfway decent against LSU they would have beat them the other night.

That said, Ole Miss probably won't keep hitting at this insane clip, so Arkansas has a good chance to come back.

We have a lot of spin doctors on here, and deflectors trying to talk about OTHER conferences, but looking at the SEC in a vacuum today...how can you not be disappointed?

Vandy loses to MSU.
LSU loses at home to A&M
SC loses at Auburn.

You do have to give props to UGA for handling their business today. Arkansas better come back tonight against Ole Miss, as they are at home and do not need to start losing home games because the UT game shows they still have road issues.

After UK played Ole Miss, I said that they would not have a better shooting game for the rest of the season.
They're hitting over 74% of their shots so far.
Feels good to not be named Arkansas.

Things I hate about college basketball: You're down ten AT HOME and fling a ball off the other team to save an ill advised airball that your teammate took. Your success at flinging said ball causes you to pound your chest and scream repeatedly.

Yeah. We are all very impressed.

I'm not so sure about us anymore. We can't win on the road consistently and now we're losing at home where we hardly ever lose. Gonna have to make a run.

Agree on the first four and think Ole Miss may be a legitimate threat to make it. Even though UF is still 3-1 in the league, they are seriously running out of time to make it. Not many chances for really high-quality wins other than UK.

Announcers saying UK won't go undefeated in the SEC. They just can't see us beating UF twice. Yet UF beat us 3 times last season.

UF is much worse than we were in regular season last year too

They left out that Florida was probably, what, top 5 most experienced teams in CBB? I mean my lord, they started 4 seniors, we started 4 freshmen. This Florida team is certainly not last year's Florida team.
Makes sense though. Florida's water boy is going to give our front court problems, clearly.

I have now seen Ole Miss a few times since SEC Conference Play and they look more like a #2 team in the SEC behind UK when their hitting shots. They have a nice team that will win their share of SEC Games this year! Sure glad UK escaped with a "W" in Lexington vs. Ole Miss!

Who is the analyst in this game. He is stupid. UF ran the table last year but UK can't this year.

Ole Miss could easily be 4-0 if they don't lose to UK in OT in a tough game and then by 4 vs. LSU! They are looking like more of a team that could finish 2nd behind UK in the SEC!

Ole Miss could be 4-0 right now. They Play us tough at home and lose in OT, Win at Arkansas, lose to LSU by 4. They have 3-4 good shooters and can shoot the 3 and they don't miss their FTs hitting tonight 26-30 for almost 90%. They could be another SEC team that could do some damage in the NCAA Tourney. They need to work on one major area and that is Defense. Most teams score at will vs. Ole Miss! If they had a strong defense like Kentucky they would be a Top 20 team!

trust me all the SEC team like Arky and Ole MIss , UGA and LSU ect will have some ups amd dowms there is no way that there is 25 teams better then UGA , LSU , Arkasnas or Ole MIss with Bama , UF and A&M pretty damn good as well. But haters goin to hate and whenthe SEC get 3 teams in the sweet 16 all of us who know basketball will be redeemed . IMO Arkansas is a top 15 team , LSU at to 25 team , along with UGA UF, Ole MIss who are top 35 teams

A case could be made for them being #2,UGA might be in that conversation as well.It is possible that everyone(except UK)in the SEC will have at least 6 losses.Who do you think is most likely to make the NCAAT this year Ole Miss or UF? Who ends up with the better record Ark or LSU?
