....but they may have put a large hole in our aura of invincibility. Some teams may not have that 'deer in the headlights' look for the first few minutes of a game now. Will be interesting to see how 1) UK responds and 2) how other teams do.

Good team. Good effort. The demise of the SEC has been exaggerated so all Tard fans will feel better about themselves.

I don't know about a large hole. Summers and Moody were on fire last night and Ole Miss still lost. Add in a team that leads the nation in free throw shooting and you have a recipe for a close game. UK won when the other team hit a perfect storm.

I don't think anyone in the SEC is going to have a deer in the headlight look against UK. UK knocked down some 3's to start the game last night and that was the reason for the hot start. Ole Miss was taking the same shots at the beginning of the game as they were at the end of regulation, they just weren't dropping to start the game.

The SEC circles the calenders when they play UK. This has been the case for a long time and it won't change this year. Even if Ole Miss would of been blown off the court last night that isn't going to effect how Bama or Miss St or UT is going to play when UK is the opponent. UK will get everyone's best shot in the SEC just like they have for the past 30 plus years.

Well put, thats the way I saw it.

It could just as easily be viewed in a way that increases our "aura of invincibility." Last night was the game that everyone hoped would happen to us. Other team shooting lights out, us having a poor shooting night along with going scoreless for long periods of time, is the paradigm most had created to assure us we would not go undefeated.

Ole Miss was that team. We survived.

Safe to say that if Ole Miss had played every game this year the way they played last night, they would have come into the game undefeated as well. Also think it's safe to say they would be undefeated against OUR schedule if they played like that every game.

Perfect storm for a loss, but we prevailed.
