You have to consider the coaching. If he couldn’t get on the field this year he can’t be that good.
Another Troy possibility??Doesn’t surprise me one bit. Kid has been here for 3 years and they bring in a G from Auburn to play in front of him. Hate that he didn’t progress to the point we all had hoped.
I have wondered why we never saw him get any significant playing time.
Hope he finds a great place to thrive.
I guess. But when they played the backups he didn’t even get on the field. You have to consider the coaching.
Yeah he was a big get at the time and lead the charge in that class trying to get more to join him. Seemed like he was an all in guy that was going to be one of the pieces of the foundation going forward. But never got (or earned) the shot. Best of luck to him.Doesn’t surprise me one bit. He only played STs, XP/FG unit, and eventually was replaced there. Appreciate his coming to UK, good luck in the future.I guess. But when they played the backups he didn’t even get on the field.
I'm of the opinion that somewhere someone on this staff has there wires crossed. Look no further then Buford not getting a sniff and what they rolled out there to start the year.He was fairly highly rated out of high school, so it’s disappointing that he never really contributed here. Since he never cracked the rotation this year even with all our problems on the OL, that tells me that either he’s not actually that good as a P5 college player, or our coaches committed malpractice. The decision to transfer is understandable in either case, and I wish him well wherever he lands.
he hasn't had bad coaching every year and he never came close to the field at any point. That is tellingYou have to consider the coaching.

He wasn’t replaced on the ST unit and the push always came from the middle and the right side.Iirc he and Goodwin were the ones allowing so much push on the FG unit.
Always hate when it doesn't work out for kids, but hope he finds success elsewhere
