Interesting. How about someone, anyone telling me where all these guys hid out in college? Obviously, Shai, Holgrem, Cason Wallace and Gordon Hayward, but I would highly respect the guy who could name off where the rest of them came from??? LOL
With where they sit and a thousand 1st rounders in the next few drafts, I will be shocked if the best they do at the deadline is Hayward. They need one more big.
Jaylin Williams AKA “Jay Will take a charge” played at Arkansas. Jalen Williams AKA J Dub the scorer played at Santa Clara or one of the smaller west coast schools. Auburn also has a Jalen Williams who they’re friends with.
You just hit upon something I have been thinking about…I don’t watch the NBA, but I do occasionally look at the standings and then look at the rosters of some of the top and bottom teams (to see if Kentucky guys or other infamous NCAA guys are on those teams). I always end up being surprised by the number of guys that I absolutely never heard about while watching college basketball. A lot of them I don’t even remember seeing as draft picks. I’m not including international players; I definitely don’t have a memory for non-American names.

Surprised they didn’t grab a big. I don’t think Jaylin Williams is the answer for that second unit. They will struggle in a playoff series against someone like the Timberwolves/Lakers/Nuggets due to being so undersized. Basically start 4 guards and Holmgren.
It is. He's a free agent after this year.
Also, from what I read, the Thunder don't have to trade any first round picks to make this happen.
Same, it’s the one thing they needed more than anything. Dallas got gafford for very little, okc not pursuing that trade is very weird
I guess I don't get what Gordon Hayward does for them.
1. Seemed like their biggest need was size/bulk to help out Chet vs. bigger teams.
2. Hayward is like a small ball PF at best in his career......I am not sure he helps them when they can't rebound/defend w/o Chet on the floor.
So maybe it's an expiring contract that they needed the room to get to the next move....but this move alone...I am not sure it helps them this year to get past Denver/Clippers/TWolves....maybe Suns in the west.

Veteran leadership for a young core.
This year is OKC's experimental year. They're playing with house money. Hayward doesn't hurt them at all. OKC will make their bigger moves in the offseason I would imagine.
8 of those guys ive never heard .. dont care to know any of them really .
The money they make is ridiculously ridiculous. Wonder if they are making 100 million a season ten years from now?

I’m a bandwagon NBA fan. OKC is my new favorite team. Love the player SGA has become and enjoy watching them play. High IQ team and likeable players.
