Watching the Arizona game and he said Arizona took Alonzo Trier OVER Isiah Briscoe. IIRC, Arizona wasn't even a serious consideration for Briscoe.

Briscoe was committed to Zona at one point. He decommitted when Zona signed Trier.

He knows we make fun of him and he can't stand it. Dude definitely reads (reading) catspause.

His eyes are so close together.

Arizona wasn't even on his list.

I thought for sure Briscoe had committed to them. I guess Dorsey had committed to them at one point?

Well a quick Google search shows that I was wrong. My bad.

Still doesn't explain Goodman's reasoning, if he truly made that statement.

Heard that too. Was drinking with a few buddies watching it and almost spit my beer all over the television. hes like an ex girlfriend who says she hates us, but cant seem to stop relating everything to us.

The odds of Briscoe staying in the Garden State will likely increase if Rutgers or Seton Hall has a good year — something that appeals to George Briscoe.

"We want the kid staying home," George Briscoe said. "That's just my opinion. I'm not saying Isaiah will, he may to go Arizona. I don't know. It's his choice."

Briscoe has dropped UConn and Louisville from his list. He plans on taking official visits to his five remaining schools — Arizona, St. John's, Rutgers, Seton Hall and Villanova. While Arizona was thought to be the favorite for Briscoe, the Wildcats' signing of guard Allonzo Trier seems to have boosted St. John's into pole position.

A buddy of mine works with a guy who knows the Briscoe family and he was adamant that Briscoe was going to Arizona, then Miller took Trier's commitment.

Interesting. Seems like he wanted to stay closer to home, or at least his family did, and Miller took the Nevada kid's commitment.

Didn't realize Arizona was "in" on Briscoe. I only heard St.Johns as being the leader until Cal amped up. Either way, glad he chose Kentucky.

Now let me get this straight Briscoe was the number one point guard in the country correct ? and somebody passed on him, yep that's sound reasonable to me lol Maybe Miller heard he was a Kansa lean , or a package deal with someone else for them lol I am sure Lebron was a Kansas lean as well lol !! Give me a break

Goodman was right....again

The Isaiah Briscoe recruitment saga took another turn on Sunday as Findlay Prep shooting guard Allonzo Trier committed to Arizona, a school thought to be one of the favorites for Briscoe. The commitment of the Rockville, Md. native who is ranked No. 19 in the class of 2015 by ESPN could open the door for the other schools who are in on Briscoe to make a move.

But George Briscoe, Isaiah's father, tells NJ Advance Media that Trier signing up with the Pac-12 power doesn't mean the Roselle Catholic guard won't be going west as well.

"When you're that dude," George Briscoe said, "You don't worry about who's going where."

Arizona had long been considered the favorite for Briscoe, while recent reports said St. John's was emerging as another possible suitor. Though Trier is a shooting guard and Briscoe has had an excellent summer as a point guard, it could make for crowded backcourt.

The development has led 247Sports.com's Crystal Ball predictor to increase St. John's chances at landing the guard at 32 percent — overtaking Rutgers as the No. 2 favorite for Briscoe's commitment. Six experts changed their pick to St. John's on Sunday morning alone. Still, George Briscoe downplayed the significance of Trier's commitment to his son's decision.

Briscoe injured his ankle on an AAU trip to Las Vegas in late July. There have been reports he broke his foot, but George Briscoe downplayed the severity of the injury and said that if the Under Armour Elite 24 was being played indoors instead of outdoors at New York's Rucker Park, Briscoe would be taking part.

Saying Arizona took Trier over Briscoe implies that Arizona took Trier's commitment then stopped recruiting Briscoe. That doesn't appear to be the case.

As far as I can tell, Arizona didn't choose Trier over Briscoe any more than UK chose Briscoe over Malik Newman.

Goodman is a slack-jawed Troll and should be ignored, reading his trash and paying attention to him just perpetuates his trolling and hate of UK
