Did I see that correctly, when we got the double technical from the pushing match, that we had Briscoe shoot our technical FT? Why??????????????

Briscoe got fouled, then the MSU player walked into the huddle and ran his mouth and we got 2 tech's out of it.

Briscoe was shooting one and one free throws. We got two techs called against us and Miss. St. 1. That is why they got to shoot two free throws and ball out of bounds.

OP's question is obviously why was Briscoe doing the shooting when we have guys like Ulis and Murray. I assumed Cal was rewarding him because he was trying to pull Murray back and calm things down even though he got slapped with a T for it himself. We can still choose our shooter for a T, correct?

Briscoe didn't shoot technical FTs. He shot the one-and-one, the result of the play prior to the confrontation.

I assume that because we had 2 T's and they only had 1 it resulted in a net of 1 T going against us thus 2 shots and the ball for MSU.

I remember in the past where you would see 1 team shoot 2 FTs, then the other team shooting like 4 Fts and getting the ball. I assume the rule has changed.

Had we gotten the opportunity to shoot technical foul FTs, Ulis would have most likely shot them.

Briscoe was fouled during the play. His shot was a 1and1. MSU shot technical FTs not UK.

Briscoe didn't shoot the technical ..His FT was because he got fouled and got a 1-1..they shot FT's for the technical we got we didnt get to shot FT's

I didn't know they got a technical too, but after looking at the box score apparently Ready got one also.

Good god.

We got TWO techs. They recieved ONE tech.

State's one T cancels out one of ours. We are then left with one UK technical which equals 2 shots for State.

Briscoe shot just ONE FT, which make or miss, would have resulted in another IF he was shooting our Technical FTs. He wasn't. Just the one and one for the foul. He missed so no 2nd shot.

MSU guy then got TWO FTs for the technical called on UK. UK's 2 T's vs. MSU's 1 T on the play resulted in 2 of them canceling the other out, leaving the 1 T on UK, which results in 2 FT's for MSU on that end and the ball.

Some of you guys need to lighten up. So he didn't understand it. No need to give him grief about it. Just explain it.

I mean he thought Briscoe shot T FTs...so kinda hard to feel sorry for someone who thinks Cal'd be that stupid.

I KNOW that I can be a bigger jackass than I was yesterday. Its called having confidence in myself and keeping a winning attitude.
