With what appears to be a positive outcome to the QB recruitment of Hoak. UK will have 11 commits from the state of Ohio with at least 3 or 4 possibilities to add to the number with Gelerstat, Griffen, Tucky, Mahone and a few others as viable options. If you take rivals data base as a reference this is a incredible haul . The last four years rivals has ranked between 60 to 80 players post season each year . If you look at who these guys committed to almost everyone committed to a power five conference with guys in the 50s and 60s committing to some of the so called football powers . In other words the top 60 to 80 players from Ohio are all starting their careers as BCS power 5 conference schools. Usually in those 4 years Ohio produced 19 to to 20 4 stars regularly almost to the point it appears rivals pretty much adjusts numbers to assume 19 to 20 4 stars will be given in Ohio each year. If UK takes 12 to 15 players from state of Ohio this year as it appears at this time it's gonna be one of the biggest hauls of talent from that state that anyone has managed outside of OSU ever. If you are a UK fan this has to be looked at as a very very good run by the numbers.
