Why cant he help out more than one day a week?? Especially when he is having an off outing and only lasts 4 or 5 innings on a friday night?? Why cant he pitch an inning on a sunday or following tuesday when we need an out or two...thoughts?
Excellent question... something I guess the coaches would have to answer, especially since its the end of the season and we need all hands on deck because every win being so vital. Why cant he help out more than one day a week?? If my memory is correct, I think he did exactly that last year during the regional at the Cliff. Wouldn't be surprised to see him do it again this year if the need is there. Why cant he help out more than one day a week?? After he was relieved last night the camera showed him pushing his arm up against a wall as if he had a dislocated shoulder. I imagine that Sean is pushing his limits as it is.
Was at game last night and he just didn't look right from the first batter. Velocity seemed down and just didn't seem to have the confidence in his pitches that he does in most starts.
Not saying he was / is injured and could just be labeled an off night....but kudos to him for gutting out 7 innings because he didn't look he would be around for 4 early on.
I push against a wall to stretch out my shoulder to break up scar tissue because I can get adhesive capsulitis if I don't. Works pretty well. He could have a frayed rotator like I do or, more likely, it is preventative.Typically they go stretch out after a game before getting iced. I don't think that was anything.
