Patrick played very bad, AGAIN...but lets not forget, our O-line got absolutely PUMBLED tonight, They should be embarrassed. Florida destroyed them over and over. I've never seen a defense absolutely BLAST right through, over, outside, an O-line in my life. Florida has a god defense, but dear lord our O-line got beat down like mike Tyson used to beat guys down in the 1st round of his 1980's fights. It looked like a college D-line against a middle school O-line.

Whipped up front as usual. They knew they could disrupt our passing game with press coverage and using their speed to get around our ponderously slow offensive linemen.

You guys are exaggerating. Towles has no pocket presence. Half his sacks could have been avoided simply by stepping up in the pocket.

Our Definite line destroyed Florida's Oline but Florida's less athletic, freshman QB turned 10 yard sacks into 7 yard gains all night long.

Go back and watch Will Greir's high school highlights. Dude is a superb athlete and a damn good runner.

The whitewashing of Towles' abortion of a game is starting already. [poop][poop][poop]

You nailed it. Our defense was just as disruptive as theirs. Our D-line did a great job and we were in their backfield all night. The difference is Grier knows when to bail out when the push comes up the middle, and knows when to step up in the pocket when it comes from the edge.

Towles, on the other hand, is a statue, then goes into the turtle and soon as he feels any heat at all. I'm not sure if he bought into the NFL talk and is afraid to get hurt, or if staff's refusal to use him in the running game has carried over to scrambling as well, but for whatever reason he refuses to use his legs anymore. That's a shame, because that's one area where he actually has D-I level talent.
