Are you telling me the only schools that offer classes to qualify for ESPN are Duke and UNC?
How aren't there lawsuits out the rear for ESPN's hiring practices?

One of the many reasons I could care less, and do not watch ESPN.Are you telling me the only schools that offer classes to qualify for ESPN are Duke and UNC?

Kevin Grevey is excellent if you've never heard him...The only UK guy I have seen worthy of a ESPN gig is Mashburn. Jamal is really really good as an analyst and commentator. He did NBA games for awhile but has disappeared the last few years. I would love for him to come back and take over for some of these stiffs that the SEC network has hired.
No bias at all.
Seriously are some Of our own fans this stupid?
Yes. He is good.Kevin Grevey is excellent if you've never heard him...
Nothing to do with classes.1. UK guys don't get a shot at ESPN. its not like Jay Williams, Battier, etc. are really good when they start. It took Williams years to improve to even of been worthy of watching on TV. Battier never worked out obviously.
2. If UK doesn't have classes that are good enough to get an ex player a job on TV or on radio.... then what the hell is UK doing? And why hasnt some realized this benefits UK in the long run to put pro UK guys in the media?
I'm with you brother. Only when UK is on ESPN will I watch it.One of the many reasons I could care less, and do not watch ESPN.
What former players from UK would fit the mold of an ESPN announcer? Other than Mashburn? Maybe Derek Anderson, John Pelphrey, Scott Padgett come to mind.
