Notes from Coach Cal Father Son Camp

We are in trouble this year. I witnessed a dismantling of the team by a team of 9 year old campers. The zone wasn't working and they don't appear to know how to man up one on one. Cal has his hands full with this team!

Seriously, I can't even begin to describe the length of this team. Been attending the camp for 5 years now and I believe this is the biggest team we've had. Not just speaking about height, the length of the group is incredible. Athleticism is off the charts as well. They get up and down the floor with ease. This will be an extremely fun group to watch.

The players really represent the university well. They spent countless hours taking pictures with the kids and talking with the parents. They appeared genuinely happy to be a part of the days events. Cal has such an incredible knack for selecting kids with high morals and values.

He was active. Looked good. The one that got me was Nick Richards's. The kid is a freaking monster. Stands almost a full head above everyone else.

Vanderbilt is much bigger than I was expecting. I've always assumed he was probably 6'7 but he's legit 6'9. I think he's grown since last year

Well he has had 2 reconstructive leg surgeries..... they probably added a couple of inches in the process.
