I have said since the second Cal announced Mitch had Scott Drew already picked. He wanted his doppelgänger. Coaching is a cutthroat game, College athletics as a whole even worse. It’s a cesspool filled with win at all cost cheaters and borderline crooks. I think Barnhart has held us back with his choirboy cautious ways. He’s always the last AD to embrace anything new. Scared to death it may not be exactly by the book.
Now we will have a basketball coach just like him. Calipari will take our entire roster with him. The new women’s coach just gutted Va. Tech. Don’t be surprised at all if Scott Drew refuses to bring any of his Baylor recruits or players. He will feel it’s wrong and not want to hurt Baylor. I’m saying I would lean 50-50 on that guess.
