When you look at UCLA and their style of play, type of players Alford recruits, it remimds me of the classic IU teams. Physical bigs that rebound and play solid D while not having a lot of athleticism. Quick shifty white point guard that is a constant 3 point threat, big white boy in the middle that screens like a brick wall. All these scream IU IMO.
Now with Crean being on the hot seat, does IU try and lure Alford back east? I would never leave UCLA for IU, but I am the farthest thing from being an IU fan. You know that any IU fan watching this game is secretly begging that Alford comes there, lol. If they would have hired him instead of Crean I think they would be much better then they are now.
