Not crazy about Cal talking about wanting more turnovers

Just don't like the concept. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Why can't we play riskier and faster and keep the turnovers where they are?
I agree with Cal most of the time but not this time.
 
He's just telling them to push the pace and attack the rim.

He made it clear he does;t want reckless passing + overall dumb stuff. He just wants players to stop playing timid, or holding/pounding the ball for the majority of the shot clock.

We're so deadly in transition. We need to push the ball every chance we get.

Agreed.....It's not like he's telling them to just throw the ball out of bounds. Seems like Andrew Harrison is really concerned about making mistakes on the court. Cal just wants them to play faster without worrying about making those mistakes.
 
I'm with you Kwilt...sounds odd but that's what Cal does sometimes.
 
He backed it up with stats. Was clear he wasn't talking about bad to's or a super high number.

According to his numbers our pts per possession are much higher with a few more TO's.
