This all we need to get LSU even more fired up for us Tuesday.

LSU lost again on Tuesday night, this time at home to Wake Forest. The Tigers' season is now relevant primarily due to the grease-fiery component that swells with each negative outcome. You can't help but gawk at the ineptitude in play.

Given the roster, it's astonishing Johnny Jones' team is only 7-5 -- and now on the wrong side of the bubble ... for the NIT. Forget the
NCAA Tournament. That's a pie-in-the-sky stuff until big changes materialize. LSU's bottom line: It has lost to the five best opponents it's played (Marquette, NC State, Wake, Houston, Charleston), and Tuesday night's 77-71 outcome to the Demon Deacons was especially bad given Jones can no longer play the we're-not-fully-healthy card

We'll get their best shot, no matter if some one proclaimed them the greatest college team of all time. It just works that way if you are Kentucky(not Duke, UNC, KU or anyone else just UK)

God help us if UK goes in there and loses next Tuesday night.

Well, Norlander didn't say anything that we haven't been saying on this board all day. We get everyone's best shot anyway. Kids that come to UK have to get used to it.

Its not hard to see the talent in Simmons but he goes for big stretches of time without touching the ball and seems happy to do that. Number 55 wants to be the star but he struggles to accomplish anything very disappointed in LSU, and yes I agree we can turn a lamb into a lion when they see Kentucky across our guys jerseys, but I don't see LSU doing it don't believe they have a lion in them.

Yeah but our fans and critics don't look at these things logically.

They'll be 12-9 at best headed into February. And that's IF they beat us at home and can win at Alabama. The other 4 game I've got them losing are almost a given I at this point I think. at Vandy this weekend, then at Florida, at Texas A&M, and Oklahoma at home.

There are other games there they could lose at home as well, but I'll assume for now they win those. If UK beats them next Tuesday, then they'll probably completely mail it in and be something like 9-12 by the end of January.

They'll be a top 5 team Tuesday and the crowd will be berserk so the Cats had better be ready.

Fortunately Jones is the worst coach in the SEC. Best talent LSU has had in years and just 7-5 with a pretty lame OOC schedule.

Simmons does seem to be fine with being good but does he have the 'tude to be a star? Most of the best have that extra something, you have to be a bit of an azzhole. The pros will eat him for lunch if he just cruises.

he doesn't seem to be much of a take charge type - he defers too much I think.
