I love a high powered offense as much as the next person, but you have to be willing to play an adequate amount of tough defense to separate yourself from the other team. I think a lot of defense is pride, and stopping your guy. We don’t seem to even make an attempt. This is on the coaches AND the players.

It hurts when your guards are just out of high school and the other one can’t guard a lamp post. And, a coach who hasn’t a clue how to draw up a game plan or execute adjustments during play.
