NO BALLS

We got punked by the physicality.

The problem is most of the "physicality" SHOULD NOT be a strategy that is allowed by officials. Illegal screens, forearms in the back on rebounds, etc are "physical" plays, they are just penalties that are not called consistently...especially moving screens - major pet peeve of mine allowed constantly in the college basketball.

The refs allowed UGA to be physical, which I’m ok with. They did not allow us to be physical.
This exactly. I just finished watching. They let Georgia be waaaaaay more physical. Amari tried to be more physical early and they called him for fouls.

I am so sick of the lack of consistency with officiating from one game to the next.

We need Pope to give them a little Mick Cronin after this game. Here is what he said to his team after the loss to Michigan:

UCLA coach Mick Cronin lit into his players following a 94-75 home loss to No. 24 Michigan on Tuesday, calling them "too soft to play hard enough" and "delusional." The No. 22 Bruins (11-4, 2-2 Big Ten) led 61-60 midway through the second half but were outscored 34-14 from there as they suffered their third loss in the last four games.

That foul on Garrison with that guy shooting the 3 looked like a flop to me. I only saw one replay but it looked like Garrison didn't even touch him. I thought the refs can review flops or am I wrong? Not that these guys would.
They can but they reviewed a couple obvious fouls on our guys that resulted in nothing but a foul and flagrant on us somehow.

Coach Pope won’t call out his players for being soft or non athletic compared to other teams and players. Just not in his DNA, but I expect that he will teach them ways to be more competitive.
