NIU: As good as some thought?

Being a top 10 team we should win regardless, but NIU doesn’t look like the concern some thought they may be preseason. Just lost to Tulsa after squeaking by Eastern Illinois last week. 3 Sunbelt teams beat ranked opponents this past week, but I don’t see it happening to us in week 4 unless there’s some insane fluke.

They play vandy this weekend, will be interesting to see what they do.

The stats from the 1st two games tell me their defense is a bit suspect.

Each team has had about 300 yards passing and over 100 yards rushing. Maybe they are better than the numbers suggest, but either their pass rush or their secondary must be weak...maybe both.
