TN has. GA also are finally going to separate public and private schools.I had no idea that 30 states had already legalized this.
I’m not sure why, but I kinda like this idea. If true, good luck in enforcing it.Missouri is the sneaky one. They allow HS NIL only if you sign a Letter of Intent to pay sports at a public university in Missouri.
Their goal is to keep the major HS talent in state by allowing them to get NIL money prior to HS graduation. Many athletes are short sighted, so the extra 5-6 months of NIL could sway them to stay in state.I’m not sure why, but I kinda like this idea. If true, good luck in enforcing it.
No chance they’ll be able to enforce that IMO, even if they are now it won’t last. Not in this day and age where everyone’s a victim and now a kid is gonna be disadvantaged cause he wants to play football in some other state.I’m not sure why, but I kinda like this idea. If true, good luck in enforcing it.
I wonder if that would survive judicial review. I doubt it. I'm sure it will be challenged before too long.Their goal is to keep the major HS talent in state by allowing them to get NIL money prior to HS graduation. I had no idea… I guess I’m gullible. This ish is taking sports somewhere that I don’t think 99% want to go. Given time, do we go to Jr. High, Grade School, Elementary… hell let’s go all the way to preschool. This is getting out of control. When a high school player starts buying Mercedes and doing blow because of the money thrown at them, it’s time to do a reality check. Dang….I wonder if that would survive judicial review. I doubt it. I'm sure it will be challenged before too long.
Yeah, it’s clear as day why Missouri did what they did.Their goal is to keep the major HS talent in state by allowing them to get NIL money prior to HS graduation. Many athletes are short sighted, so the extra 5-6 months of NIL could sway them to stay in state.
