The Nike Hoop Summit returns to Portland, Ore., and the World roster for the annual showcase will feature class of 2023 recruits Matas Buzelis and Mackenzie Mgbako — two players with UK scholarship offers — as well as class of 2022 prospect Leonard Miller, who has emerged as an intriguing recruiting option for next season. The game will be streamed live at 10 p.m. Friday on on USABasketball.com and the USA Basketball Twitter feed, as well as on NBA.com, the NBA App, and the NBA’s YouTube channel and Facebook page.

Why does everyone act like Cal can't recruit?

The NIL is opened and we signed the #1 recruit (who did screw us over) in 2022 and we are 100% on 24/7 for the #1 in 2023.

I get the criticisms of his lack of coaching, but saying he can't recruit is just wrong.

And don't even go the Cal lover route, I'm ready for him to move on because his coaching deficiencies.

Hard to watch not knowing if some player we think is great is going elsewhere.

Recruits that never play don’t count. And Wagner isn’t the #1 recruit anymore albeit still very important.

It seems the staff has backed off Taylor a bit but maybe it’s just the period we were in

Yeah I said imo they had the best rankings. He’s also likely to fall in the other rankings once they update but we can revisit it then.

Damn that sucks . I thought the Chin connection would land him . So far we had two big connections in 2023 and both are shaky right now .

Not cheating while others laugh at the NCAA has been a problem for a long time now, not just for a while. Is the NCAA going to take away all the money the LSU coach made by cheating? Anyone know Coaches net worth now, is he living in a rented house? Is he treated like a crook, is he going to jail? Do the people around him, treat him like a crook?

How long did it take the NCAA to do something, too little too late?

Don't disagree. Nothing major will happen to them. AZ or KU. Nothing happened to UNC. Only schools that get punished are UK and directional schools. It's a complete joke.

Miller had 11 so he wasnt exactly a revelation in this game.
I'd say college is still on the table for him.

Miller would be a good get but idk about a progam changing get.
He's not Jamaal Murray.
His skillset/build is somewhere in the Wenyen/ Jaden McDaniels type.
That being said, he could be a player who plays his best basketball in 3-5 years.

If Miller is a 6-11 athlete that plays on the perimeter and decides to come to UK, he will get along with Cal about the same way Cam Fletcher did.

? Fletcher? You could have said Sarr or Labarsaiere, for 6'11" reference. but a 6'6' athlete with no shot, not sure why you'd go with that.
