Here's a summary for those of you who are too lazy to watch the video: Dunk, block, dunk, block, dunk, block, dunk, block, dunk, block, dunk, block, dunk, block, dunk, block, dunk, block, dunk, 12 foot step back shot, dunk, block, dunk, block, dunk, block, dunk, block, dunk, block, dunk, block, dunk, block, assist, dunk, block, dunk, 15 foot shot, block, dunk, block, dunk, block, dunk, block, dunk, block, dunk, block, dunk.

On a serious note, I can't wait to see this young man progress over the next couple seasons. Hopefully we'll be lucky enough to see him progress in the same manner that WCS did during his time at UK. Of course, with the only exception being that Richards be a part of a National,Championship team during his stay.

Go Big Blue!!!

Seems to have a nice touch and decent handles for a guy his size. I really think he will be an impact player even as a freshman.

He's way ahead of WCS at the same stage. Doubtful that we'll get to see him for more than a year.

A title in the next 1 to 3 years will be the sweetest title of my lifetime, and it will absolutely cripple the haters.

He's got a lot more pop than I thought he had. Looking forward to seeing him ball next year!

Jumper looks smoother than I anticipated. He also had that nice hard dribble jab step back 15 footer that looked real nice. If that's something he can do consistently then he won't be here more than a year.

Dude's nice.. Those saying we need Bamba if we want a good front court are mistaken. Richards can hold it down underneath.. excellent rebounder and a better-than-expected shot blocker. As good of a shooter you can have for a 260lb kid. I could see conditioning being an issue in some games, he may get worn down at times.. but he'll be a force. Bamba is just icing in the cake if you ask me.

A WCS without WCS hands but wth better footwork than WCS?

To me, he's infinitely more skilled offensively. Probably has fairly similar athleticism, but I doubt he would be the kind of 7 footer that could step out and guard the point guard like WCS, and like you said, WCS had some amazing hands. Richards is strange with his hands. His catch radius is enormous, but he can't consistently get a hold of the ball. I'm sure it'll get fixed.

He probably can't guard the other teams pg but his ability at 7ft to guard wing players was brought up by his hoop Summit coach. Biggest difference is Richards has some meaness. Bit of a Magloire type attitude and competitive. When interviewed at the JBC when the reporter asked him what it might be like playing with a shot blocker like Bamba. Richards said it be great but I'm a better shot blocker then Mo. I liked that

Love the opening scene hanging with Cal. Dude loves his players like they're his sons. It shows in how the players love him back and respect him so highly.

His athleticism gets better everytime I watch him play. He's not WCS level (I don't think anyone is) but he's definitely one of the more athletic 6'11+ players I've ever seen for being as strongly built as he is. He looks to be physically and athletically a fusion between WCS and KAT. He will get to 250 or 255 consistently and with what looks to be a 36-38" vertical and a mean streak inside. He's going to be awesome. I think when it's all said and done he'll play a lot like a poor man's KAT his freshman year here towards the end of the year (inside the paint area). Gobble up rebounds, block shots you didn't think anyone could block, while using his strong body to dunk on people and put back missed shots with the occasional jump hook. Difference is it'll take him probably 2 or 3 years whereas it took KAT 6 months, but I'd say that's what he should shoot for. KAT's low post UK playing style.
