Unfortunately fellow college freshman Isaac Humphries (Kentucky) is not eligible to declare for next year’s NBA draft, but with six Wildcats selected in the 2015 draft, Humphries is certainly in the right place to get to the NBA in a few years time.
The 7-foot-tall teenager is already turning heads in Kentucky according to the first practice report on John Capilari’s fresh-faced squad.
“Humphries has was a bit of a surprise,” wrote James Streble for SB Nation.
“He can both muscle opponents and he has a nice outside stroke. Much more athletic than the coaches thought he was. He’s going to play major minutes.”
