Let me get the obligatory "I don't like Pat Forde" quote out of the way first. Now that we have taken care of that piece of business I have to say it was a very good article.

The ONE and ONLY reason Card fan Forde brings up Thornton is because Pitino wanted him to reclassify and he wasn't interested until K came along. LOL That said Dook Vitale and the other lifelong slurpers will be praising K for rebuilding so quickly.

Later in the article when he talks about Thornton reclassifying he wonders if he is ready for the academic demands because, as Forde says, Duke is not UNLV.
