We may see several of our incoming group not be oad. I am not sure Green, Vanderbilt, Washington or Richards are one year players. They are good enough to go with Diallo and/ or Bamba and/or Knox and make a very good team
We have become the destination for the OAD. I know we want to get the best players but I wish there wasn't a mindset of disappointment for those not quite good enough to be drafted high after their freshman season. It is really a quandry. What do you do, you certainly want to go after the best. The thing is, they still consider themselves one and done. Listen to Vanderbilt's interview. The kid has full intention on only being here 1 year.
Kids come to UK because they want to get to the league quick. If they don't "fulfill" that expectation in 1 year - they get scared they are going to be over recruited and ride the pine at UK, so they test the NBA regardless (or transfer).
That's the issue.

Dakari is a great example of this mindset
