IMO next weeks game is the most critical game of Stoops tenure here. Win it and he could salvage a decent season. Lose it and the wheels come off as we would probably head into USC with a 5 game loosing streak and a ticket to the toilet bowl if at all. Given he has NEVER WON an SEC West road game it will be a rough contest regardless of how poorly Miss St has played this season. On paper we should win the game but I just dont know. I do know if the wheels come off and we lose he may dig a whole for himself he never climbs out of

Unfortunately, Stoops’ teams are predictable. You can pretty much guarantee we’ll lose to Miss St on the road just like we’ll always lose to TN regardless of where we play. CMS rarely overachieves.

We've got a good chance to finish 8-4 this season if we play well. MSU and USC aren't very good although they will beat us if we play poorly. Bama is a loss although we may play pretty well just to notch another moral victory. UofL is a toss up. We can and should win but have to play well to do so.

8-4 with a decent bowl game (win, hopefully) would not be a disaster. Not as good as I'd hoped but not awful. 7-5 or worse is a big step back, imo.

Miss St QB Will Rogers has been hurt, hasn't played in a couple of weeks. QB now is Mike Wright, formerly of Vandy who engineered Vandy's win over UK in CWS last year. He's an adequate passer but when you're going up against a D that's as passive as UK you don't have to be great, we saw that last night. Plus Wright is 10 times the runner Melton was so expect UK to look totally unprepared....again.

Then, of course, SCAR has Rattler and a heavily injured OL. Instead of assaulting their injured OL, UK will dance around, hem and haw and allow Rattler to complete 90% of his passes against UK's putrid secondary. UK's Diarrhea Defense will have their hands full in both those games.

Need to win on thevroad next week and get to a bowl..any bowl. Keep recruiting and hold the class together. Need a new D Line scheme. The D has been a disappointment. 7 - 5 plus a bowl win is at least holding steady. A win over Louisville can salvage a lot.

Hoping the team has more character than to give up. I thought we improved a ton on offense. Tenn is a very good offensive team and our d had lapses. I found the game to be very entertaining and we had a good chance.

I think kentucky needs to join big 12 or ACC. Results wouldn't be that much better but I think we could make a run in those conferences from time to time. Will never compete in SEC. NEVER

Where’s has and is that money going other than locking our three major sport coaches into ridiculous lifetime contracts? I like Stoops but like Cal and Mingione he’s just sitting fat, dumb, and happy making millions while there’s zero pressure to perform. Where does the pressure come from? Media and fanbase? If I was making $9m locked into a non-performance based contract it wouldn’t bother me at all what was said or written about me. The best investment is for Stoops to dump some dead weight and spend the money on a couple of guys who can coach and recruit. We’re lacking in the development department which was one of our strong points in the past and it shows. Hard to get rid of those drinking buddies though.

You just do not have any understanding of the actual challenge. I think we can get there and have the coach who can pull it off. That said the task is pretty monumental and requires some breaks going your way. Having a huge chunk of your fanbase go over the top negative every time you face adversity does not help. Do you appreciate the 10 win seasons or have you convinced yourself they are basically a mirage as well?
