As much as I love the idea, it will offend someone somewhere. And all it takes anymore is one snowflake to be offended and the party gets ruined for everyone. The trophy case is looking pretty good these days though!

I am surprised it's the Beer Barrel, I would have bet it would have been a white oak bourbon barrel.

Back when we played Indianus that was for the Bourbon Barrel. I remember in the Curry years a very rainy and cold night winning that game 3-0. I have never been more grateful for two flasks and a garbage bag as I was that night Yes those were truly the glory years 🤣🤣🤣

Didn't know that, but as an outsider I just think it would have been pretty cool if the UofL and UK game was the Bourbon Bowl with the history of producing fine Bourbon the state has. But someone would get their feelings hurt and sue to have it changed.

Regarding the barrel. Would nothing more to see it come back but it ain’t happening. Especially after the death of that child last year, I believe? Too many snow flakes will be up in arms.

Definitely the Bourbon Barrel game. Hell, even with MADD and IU to placate (ha!) we could still play for a barrel. We could just call it "The Charred Barrel".

I'm offended that they don't have it anymore but I reckon those of us for it just don't count as much as those snowflakes. I'm old school, I came along when majority ruled actually meant something. Ever since soccer moms and political correctness came along now minority rules in our society. I'm your my opinions will be very popular with some. Ha!!!
