KSR indicates at least 4 have interviewed. Anyone hearing anything. The guy from the jets is one of them.

Nothing solid, just speculation. Going on a limb here I don't think Woodward gets the job. I believe they are grooming him to be the next in line. I believe they will go with Troy Walters, Brian Johnson or Spencer Whipple. Walters looks like a home run hire to me.

Jones revealed on Thursday’s Kentucky Sports Radio that Kentucky has interviewed at least four people for the vacant position. Each candidate has followed up the interview by having a conversation with quarterback Will Levis. Jets QB coach Rob Calabrese is one of the coaches that has been through the interview process. Calabrese is considered the frontrunner at this point in the process. As we alluded to earlier this week, Coen’s recommendation put Calabrese in contention for the position.

TB I am not familiar with Walters. I thought Johnson was a great fit having college and pro experience. Can you tell me more about Walters? Thanks.

The Jets guy sounds like the one. If that's Liam's pick, it's my pick. I hope Levis feels the same way...

...unless there's another candidate clearly better.

I trust our organization. Man, Stoops has built one solid program. Nobody could've predicted this.

Keeping our WR coach is key, imo. He can bridge the gap between Liam and the new guy, help Levis make the transition. Hopefully, it's not much of a transition. Just business and usual and we will keep grooving and improving on last year's progress.

I did see on Twitter that Wandale Tweeted his support for Coach Walters. He is really high on him. Wonder if that means he has the inside track?

I can't speak for his coaching beyond what I find online, but I remember him as an amazing college football player. in the late 90's. One of the best college wide receiver in football in the late 90's.

Walters was the OC at Nebraska while Wan'Dale was there, so his endorsement surprises me. Of course it might have been Frost running things at the time.
Rock, isn't UK looking to fill the elder Berezowitz's old position?

I'm really surprised Woodward isn't going to LA with Coen.

Before this went down I would've bet good money he'd leave with coen, whenever it happened. However I guess that rams offensive staff is packed. Responsibilities are going to be very divvied up there because iirc they had two offensive people come back and get "increased responsibilities". That combined with an oc that doesn't really call the plays makes for a crowded room imo

No, thanks. Loggains is terrible

"Loggains was promoted to offensive coordinator on January 11, 2016 when Adam Gase left the position to become the head coach of the Miami Dolphins.[11] The Bears struggled during Loggains' tenure as OC, with a November 2017 ranking by ESPN placing him dead last among 32 playcallers,[12] while the offense ended the 2017 season averaging just 16.5 points per game (29th in the league)."

Loggains must have something on Adam Gase because he's followed him everywhere and they get fired every time.

"On January 23, 2019, Loggains reunited with Adam Gase once again after he was hired as the offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach for the New York Jets.[15] On October 25, 2020, in anticipation of the Week 7 matchup against the Buffalo Bills, Head Coach Adam Gase gave up offensive play calling duties and gave them to Loggains. Despite a strong performance in the first half with a 10-6 lead, Loggains failed to gain momentum in the second half, culminating in an 18-10 loss to Buffalo. On October 28, 2020, ahead of the matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, it was reported that Loggains would again be given offensive play calling duties. Gase was fired as the Jets head coach in January 2021, along with his staff, to include Loggains."

What a stupid stupid defense, I hate this candidate not because of his damn win/loss record but because he isn't from the McVey or Shanahan tree. If he were worth anything he wouldn't be just a college position TE coach after 15 yrs coaching at 41 yrs old.

after taking an unknown and turning him into a smart football people household name, and building up after 1 yr ti landing the most covered NFL OC job, THIS is one of the best resumes to cross Stoops desk? Crushingly disappointing.

Hire Brian freaking Brohm if this is the depths we have to go.....

I would be more confident with Walters over the others mentioned and the recruiting thing is huge.

The program sure is different than the mid 80s when I was kid going to Commonwealth, and light years different than the early to mid 90s while I was UK and you only went to game to get hammered.
