KSR indicates at least 4 have interviewed. Anyone hearing anything. The guy from the jets is one of them.
I'm really surprised Woodward isn't going to LA with Coen.Nothing solid, just speculation. Going on a limb here I don't think Woodward gets the job. I believe they are grooming him to be the next in line. I believe they will go with Troy Walters, Brian Johnson or Spencer Whipple. Walters looks like a home run hire to me.
TB I am not familiar with Walters. I thought Johnson was a great fit having college and pro experience. Can you tell me more about Walters? Thanks.Nothing solid, just speculation. Guess he doesn't have enough stroke with Rams to get him a spot. McVey working on building an all star Offensive coaching staff, no room.I'm really surprised Woodward isn't going to LA with Coen.
I did see on Twitter that Wandale Tweeted his support for Coach Walters. He is really high on him. Wonder if that means he has the inside track?Nothing solid, just speculation. When does the UK self-imposed waiting period end?Still think Calabrese is the favorite.
Not sure. The job posting says to apply by March 23rd but it will be over long before then. When does the UK self-imposed waiting period end?
I can't speak for his coaching beyond what I find online, but I remember him as an amazing college football player. in the late 90's. One of the best college wide receiver in football in the late 90's.TB I am not familiar with Walters. I thought Johnson was a great fit having college and pro experience. Can you tell me more about Walters? Thanks.
Former college assistant at Texas AM, NC State and Colorado. Former OC under Frost at UCF. Current Bengals WR coach. Part of the McVay tree. Known as an excellent recruiter.TB I am not familiar with Walters. I thought Johnson was a great fit having college and pro experience. Can you tell me more about Walters? Thanks.
Rock, isn't UK looking to fill the elder Berezowitz's old position?Walters was the OC at Nebraska while Wan'Dale was there, so his endorsement surprises me. Of course it might have been Frost running things at the time.
From what Justin has reported, that position, at least the title has gone away and will not be filled. It sounds to me like the responsibilities are divided out amongst a few guys.Rock, isn't UK looking to fill the elder Berezowitz's old position?

Same.Dowell Loggains
Hope that ain't true, a smokescreen

Thought about applying but I’ve got too much on my plate right now.Not sure. The job posting says to apply by March 23rd but it will be over long before then.
Certainly helps when you get to coach under Saban and then get handed a huge talent like Josh Allen.
Matt reports the info that he is given. Has nothing to do with what he does or doesn't know in situations like these. What the hell does Matt Jones know? This guy would not be a good fit for us. Move on. Hope you all above are correct about the smokescreen.
Yeah, I'm kinda underwhelmed but what do I know? Since they both worked for the Jets could Stoops have inquired about Calabrese thru Loggains?Personally I can't get excited about him. Hopefully this isn't the choice. Otherwise Hopefully he proves me wrong
I would be more confident with Walters over the others mentioned and the recruiting thing is huge.Former college assistant at Texas AM, NC State and Colorado. Former OC under Frost at UCF. Current Bengals WR coach. Part of the McVay tree. Known as an excellent recruiter.
The Jets guy sounds like the one. If that's Liam's pick, it's my pick. I hope Levis feels the same way...
...unless there's another candidate clearly better.
I trust our organization. Man, Stoops has built one solid program. Nobody could've predicted this.
Keeping our WR coach is key, imo. He can bridge the gap between Liam and the new guy, help Levis make the transition. Hopefully, it's not much of a transition. Just business and usual and we will keep grooving and improving on last year's progress.
Matt Jones won’t say anything negative about the football program as he’s “in” with Vince. This would be a really disappointing hire! So much for the young and innovative route like Coen.
Shouldn’t need his sign off but you want to make sure they are comfortable. Next year is a big year for our trajectory.Anyone saying we need Levis’s sign off on the hire is insane. Horrible way to run the program. Stoops can and should make the decision on his own
