New Coaches Poll: 3-0 Mizzou #23, Bama Falls to #12

No idea why Missouri and Auburn are still ranked.

Missouri hasn't played very well, but they are 3-0 so I can see some justification for them being ranked. But AU was taken to OT by an FCS team and were blown out by LSU Saturday. LSU is much improved offensively over last year.

Examples of voters "not letting go". Despite schedule (first real test this week) you still might make a small case for Mizzou. But AU? Should be 1-2 with a home loss to an FBS team.

Peace

I watched UK have two TD passes missed and lose to a very talented SEC team by five and everyone is ready to throw everyone under the bus. But after watching the fluke play where Ole Miss had their QB field a popup that probably went 25 foot up in the air, throw another ill advised popup while being tackled that should have never been thrown and should have been intercepted but instead was defended well but glanced off a helmet into the arms of another receiver that took it for a LONG TD which was a key play in a 6 point loss to a team now ranked #5 I think their punishment was a bit harsh. Definitely a LOT better than #12 in the nation.

That's the perks of being in the SEC. You get overrated.

If we would have beat Florida and followed it up with a win against Missouri we'd have been artificially inflated. Roll into the game with Auburn 5-0 and we may have had a laughable number by our name.
