A brand new Beatles song was released today and it'll most likely be the last song all four of them have played on. In 1994 Yoko Ono gave the remaining three a demo from Lennon and they tried to finish the song then but the technology wasn’t there yet to make it sound any good and then in 2001 when Harrison died they basically gave up. But when Peter Jackson was doing the documentary he was able to separate out Lennon’s voice and make it sound crystal clear so they took everything from the ‘90s, added in Lennon’s voice, tidied it up a bit, and the two remaining finished it.
