Chinese 3D tech company Sanya Sihai has created a bright orange electric-powered sedan which cost just $1,770 to manufacture. Sanya Suhai unveiled the vehicle, China's first 3D printed car, on Tuesday in the country's southern Hainan province. Building the vehicle reportedly took 1.5 months, with the printing part of the process taking about five days.

3D-printed car for just $1,770

3D printing is the rage now, but I've worked with some parts and the quality and durability aren't the same as a molded or machined part. I cant imagine that car being durable enough for real road use.The car is really a novelty but the printing of buildings shows a lot of promise. It is a system of extruding fiber filled concrete that looks feasible. Some others here are experts in that but it looks pretty promising to me.

I can get you in this car for $99 down and $79 a month on an 84 month loan. SWEEET!

Looks like one of the cars you put a penny on its back and then it does crazy car tricks as it whirls and twirls around on your coffee table. Loved those cars.

If the financing options are right, I'd be interested in one.
Just give them your credit card number. They'll send you a thumb drive which you take to your local 3D print job and your in business.

I despise this sumbitch, by the way.

Nice profit margin when you are selling these for 15-30K....

Check out this link for building houses....its not in its infancy any longer.
