Way off with that thought. Ulis lives to play. He knows when to rest.Going to be awfully difficult for Ulis to keep up his excellent productivity this season fi he has to play every single second in competitive basketball games.
He played 45 mins, most of anyone, so when did he rest?He knows when to rest.
When not playing or practising the game. If the game is your life , you live that way.He played 45 mins, most of anyone, so when did he rest?
They have 8 five minute tv time outs plus half time plus all the coaches time outs.He played 45 mins, most of anyone, so when did he rest?
And besides, it isn't like every game is a nail biter. LOL! Calipari didn't give Ulis much rest when we blew out Vandy and Missouri. If Calipari isn't worried about this, then why should we?Way off with that thought. Ulis lives to play. He knows when to rest.
Then why didn't Calipari do that in the Missouri game?Ulis does play a ton of minutes. Subbing him right before 8 minute tv timeout in the first half and the 12 minute tv timeout in the second half could possibly help a bit.
I don't know. I'm just giving my opinion on what could be done to give Tyler a break. Then why didn't Calipari do that in the Missouri game?
If Ulis wears down or happens to get shin splints Cal will say he should have rested him more,Cal doesn't do everything right every time(Skal,Willis to name two this year) Most stuff he gets right, basketball coaching isn't an exact science there are more ways than one to do everything ,none are 100% right or wrong..I don't know. I'm just giving my opinion on what could be done to give Tyler a break.
He got hacked on that play and of course the refs didn't call it. That's not fatigue...The turnover on Kansas end that turned into an immediate 3 never happens. Fatigue, Fatigue, Fatigue.
Actually what I observed was every time KU drove they called a foul and every time UK drove they stole the ball. Can't have it both waysSure the timeouts give Ulis rest, but every player is resting as well. It is tough playing all out every minute of the game. His fatigue cost us this game down the stretch as it did the Ohio State game. He made crucial turnovers and missed crucial shots in both games due to fatigue.
He is almost always perfect, but his production in the last 8 minutes of intense games like UL, OSU, Auburn and Kansas really falls. Our offense becomes stagnant and it cost us in 3 of those games and let UL get all the way back.
His three turnovers were very uncharacteristic yesterday and killed us. The turnover on Kansas end that turned into an immediate 3 never happens. Fatigue, Fatigue, Fatigue.
