They've figured out that they can make up for a shitty Final Four viewing by seeding so that the real Final Four games are in the first and second rounds (see: UK's bracket these past few years).

Hell, 3 of the best 6 or 7 teams were in our region. UCLA would beat Gonzaga, and they would have been favored.

They don't care about ratings for this weekend and Monday as much as they do the two weekends prior. The first, second, third and fourth rounds are when they rake in the most dough because people are tuned in all day to see the "madness" and cheer on their team. By the time it gets to the Final Four, the madness is over and you only have the fanbases of the teams left that are really tuned in. That's why the last few years the regional finals have been essentially Final Four games. Maximum draw. Maximum revenue.

I don't think I've ever watched the FF when UK wasn't in it. I know I haven't for at least the past 25 years.

Yep. UK played a "Final Four" this past weekend.

They were a 2 seed. Other than Oregon, I don't think anyone else who played 2 games had anywhere near the challenge we had. And I'm being generous putting Oregon in the vicinity.

I cant stand to watch the Cheats be given another title - so I'll be doing yardwork and stuff around the house. The family and I were talking it over - they are of the thought that the fix is in to give UNC the title (a new unblemished title) to compensate for the upcoming penalties and possible title losses - to try to quell the UNC outcry of "mistreatment". They are a truly sickening bunch.

Last night I was researching old tournaments to look at easy paths to the Final Four to see besides Duke and Gonzaga, who may have had another easy one and I came across 2001 Michigan State. Check this out. I don't think it can be topped.
