NC STATE dismisses top running back

Of course. It seems like UofL always has good luck with other teams having injuries and/or dismissals.

Thornton is a good back but not irreplaceable. Probably why he was kicked to the curb. Dayes will get the job done (more talented than Thornton) and they will mix in some of their young talented guys.

This is funny. It seems that what team UL plays their is going to be a lot of injuries, suspensions or dismissals before they play. Seems when we roll into town the other team is bringing everybody back full force ie: Florida.

Agreed, it seems interesting that way too often UL gets to play a depleted team, but they seem to be almost always at full strength when we play them.

Regarding this player, I don't think he's a "Louisville Man"...he's only in trouble for hitting someone while riding his moped...He's got to do better than that to be a "Louisville Man"!

He previously had gotten in trouble for beating up his girlfriend though, so there's that.

I knew I couldn't be the only person who's noticed this. I believe last year vs Notre dame they had a missing player or two. Florida state had several missing. I believe nc state last year was missing a couple guys. It just seems like every time they play someone in football, the opponent is a man or two short and it's always one of their best players!

Yeah man, even against Clemson this year, the Tigers had a bunch of starters out that game as well. Last year was nuts. Every time they had a big game, the other team had big time players out. On the other side, UofL did play half the season with Devonte Parker. If UofL loses this weekend their bowl hopes are in serious jeopardy.

If he could only beat on his girlfreind, who was also his cousin, while rolling a blunt.......
That is L1C4 material!

Girlfriend . .beating . . motorcycle involved . . .he may be the new face of the Cardinals. Meet the new face same as the old face.

Heck, I didn't know that! That changes everything. That would make him L1C4 material.

From cbssports.com:

Thornton's checkered career has seen him already suspended on three separate occasions, including the first two games of the 2015 season following a violation of team rules ESPN reported to be a failed drug test. Thornton was also suspended for the 2013 season opener for a misdemeanor assault against a female charge, and again in December 2013 when he was charged with misdemeanor marijuana and paraphernalia possession.

However he's also a true senior I believe and played in at least one game this year, so I believe his eligibility is up......
