NBA Summer League starts today

USA basketball and NBA summer league debut for Bam and Willis today.

I'm going to watch the U19 game early but look forward to these.

A 5 p.m. Saturday matchup will feature former Cats Dakari Johnson with the Oklahoma City Thunder and Derek Willis with the Detroit Pistons.

Another game to watch in Orlando will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 4, when Adebayo and the Heat take on Willis and the Pistons.

Bam looked good. Jumper has some potential. Shot a couple air balls. It also made some. Showed his high energy and athletic ability as well

Once these kids are out of school and can focus totally on basketball, no practice time limits and things, it's really easy to improve a ton the first few months to a year out of college. Especially something that takes repetition like shooting.
