If I remember correctly, about the first game I ever attended was in the Blanton Collier regime. Does anyone who may have attended games in that era, or better, played for Collier remember UK playing in Navy Blue jerseys, for at least one game?

Our “blue” was always a deeper blue until recent years when Nike change lighter royal blue. Personally I wish we would have kept the deeper blue
That deep blue is sharp. Would love to see a throwback uni to pay homage. And of course, the Power K. But this would require some creativity from our AD and administration, something of which they do not have. It took an act of Congress to stop playing cotton-eyed Joe at football games. Meanwhile at UT it’s an experience unlike any other, all while adults can enjoy a nice adult beverage while watching the game.
I can remember the 05 or so SEC tournament and they had throw back uniforms like the
77-78 cats. I think Nike doesn’t like the power K b/c it’s not their trademark , if I had to guess. The Tradition we do have we find a way to never use it at its full advantage IMO.
Kentucky Football should use every advantage we can muster to keep a marquee program pursuit. Also every dis advantage should be used as an advantage. Every concerned fan of this program should do our best to do what we can to help. ( what that had to do with navy blue uniforms I honestly do not know) 🤡🤟

I remember UK blue being only very slightly lighter - almost indistinguishable from Penn State's blue when we played them in the 70s.

The 78 BB National Champs' photos from sports illustrated definitely show a much darker blue than the current royal (faded) blue. The article below shows a shade closer to Duke's dark blue.

Definitely a fan of the deeper blue. You can see it in the old basketball uniforms, too. It's changed quite a bit.

Anybody remember when teams traditionally wore their dark colors for games? Black and white TV brought in white uniforms. Now that all TVs are color I'd love to see teams go back to dark uniform jerseys. Caveat is LSU and I think maybe Auburn wore home whites.

Yes I wish we'd go back to the leather helmets and no face masks of your heyday. Much more of a "football appearance" (whatever that means). Get off my lawn!!
