If I remember correctly, about the first game I ever attended was in the Blanton Collier regime. Does anyone who may have attended games in that era, or better, played for Collier remember UK playing in Navy Blue jerseys, for at least one game?
Believe it or not, the City of Knoxville is urging TN to cease the beer sells....too many drunks. That deep blue is sharp. Would love to see a throwback uni to pay homage. And of course, the Power K. But this would require some creativity from our AD and administration, something of which they do not have. It took an act of Congress to stop playing cotton-eyed Joe at football games. Meanwhile at UT it’s an experience unlike any other, all while adults can enjoy a nice adult beverage while watching the game.

Yes I wish we'd go back to the leather helmets and no face masks of your heyday. Much more of a "football appearance" (whatever that means). Get off my lawn!!Yes, he was the coach when I started to school. The uniforms in those days were a much darker blue and it was a lot more attractive. It had a football appearance which has been lost with today's fashion. Nike tells us what to do and we do it.
I have to tip the hat to Alabama and Penn State. Their uniforms are much like they were 50 years ago. They have a tradition and identity and stick to it.
Based on your posts I'm guessing you played with no helmet.Yes I wish we'd go back to the leather helmets and no face masks of your heyday. Much more of a "football appearance" (whatever that means). Get off my lawn!!
