We have a HOF coach. He didn't get there by being a dumbass. We may have the best point guard in America. 5'9". Size matters. Our other 2 guards are as good as there are in ncaa. We saw what Murray is capable of yesterday. As much as I like Briscoe, he is a liability at the line. Love Poy but face it, there is a reason he's still here besides his injury. Marcus Lee is great energy but is limited on some skills.

I love Mathews game but he is a couple years off. I think Humph will be a monster but needs to get his feet wet in game situations. Can't understand the Willis situation but I'm not at practice.

Skal needs strength. Thats it in a nutshell. All the skill and potential you could want. But needs to get stronger.

Then there's the Z factor. I've read that Tai is the answer. Whoa! If he is then chopping wood will be going on everywhere on campus.

Heck, north carolina may even start a college course on it. And louisville, well it sounds like they already have some wood going on down there.

WIth Ulis you loose 5" to most guards, Murray is 2-3" shorter than than most wing players, AP is smallish for a PF and Skal even though he is 6'11", he plays about 6'3"- 6'4".

That's said, this team has obvious weaknesses, but let's not lose sight of the fact that it's a college team, and like the others, they aren't complete like a pro unit and will adjust and learn to mask weaknesses as the year goes on.

Ulis is a nice little player, but he isn't 1 of the 5 top point guards in the country. I know that isn't what our fans want to hear, but he just isn't. Ulis didn't play well yesterday, especially in the 2nd half when we needed him most. After we worked Ohio State's lead down to 3 points with 4 minutes left in the 2nd half, we had all the momentum. Ohio State was completely out of sync at that point. Then Ulis made a couple of dumb decisions that broke our momentum and allowed Ohio State to push their lead back out to 7 points. That was the ball game. The great point guards don't do that. Against bigger guards with equal athleticism, Ulis will have other difficult performances later in the season. But Ulis is still a nice player. By February, it will be obvious that Murray is the best wing scorer in the country. If Murray steps up his defensive performance, and I think he can do that, then he could be the best guard in the country period. Briscoe is a great player and an elite defender. But Briscoe will struggle to score against physical teams because he is not a consistent shooter. Briscoe has small hands and could use some work on shooting fundamentals. Briscoe had a tough day yesterday. His problems at the free throw line worry me. I was not worried about it in November, because Briscoe was a 72% free throw shooter in high school. But I am starting to worry about it now because he looks very tight when he shots free throws.

Murray is brilliant. The team isn't on the same page yet, but you can't discount Murray's skill.

We just can't shoot. Jaylen Brown going to California, hurt us big time. We can put the blame on Skal, but it's not all his fought, Lee yesterday was out of position on defense so many times I lost count, Poy u never know if he's going to bring it or not, Ulis is not the same player he was last year, Briscoe just can't shoot and that causes the middle clogged off for Skal. The comparison of this team to the 2011 Brandon Knight team is crazy the 2011 team had shooters! Murray is our only Scorer!
