Skal is soft. And that's an understatement. Alex got dunked on by an f'n guard. Murray is a garbage time MVP. Briscoe has mastered the Grayson Allen head snap. Where was Mulder? You'd think our best 3pt shooter might have gotten some PT to counter the tight zone they were running. Willis at least played like he had some balls, why didn't he get any serious minutes until it was too late? Cal adjusted to NOTHING at halftime. He was out-coached by an IU guy.

It's been awhile since I've been this upset after a loss. I know this team is talented and I'm not saying the sky is falling. It was the first game in a hostile environment and the officiating wasn't helping us either. I'm not surprised we lost. But we went out like chumps today.

I'm going to finish this bottle of Woodford and go to bed.

You will most likely get ripped for your post, but no fair minded person can argue with your comments. I made many of the same comments in another post. You have to at least give some of your best perimeter players a chance to force the opponent out of the paint on defense. We did nothing but constantly yell at the players as if they weren't already losing confidence because nothing was going right for them on the court. In that situation, it would have been helpful if someone, coach, did a few things to help our players calm down and not pile on them too.

What a great and refreshing post from a low-post count poster on our board. Kudos for speaking from the heart and nailing it in one, succinct post. The best part about the post is Coach Cal getting out-coached (and coach cal is the first person to agree with that assessment).

Everyone can take something from this game. I like that fact. It'll pay dividends later in the season when we need it most, methinks .....

In fairness you might feel worse about this loss because you've only had one other in like a year and half. We will be ok

Don't really feel to bad about the loss,we are a good team,but not a great team.We will get better but will never be a great team,there are too many holes in our game and we are not good enough at any one or two things to cover those holes every game.We will take some more hits this season and have 6 to 8 losses by seasons end.
