After discussing it over with family, and much prayerful thought, I have decided that I will attend the 2022 Music City Bowl.

In making this decision, in addition to the above, I have consulted a map widely available on the internet that shows Nashville to be less than 3 hours from my home.

I would like to Thank God for the health I enjoy that will probably allow me to survive an outdoor experience in late December in northern Tennessee.

I would also like to thank my brother for volunteering to drive us, yet again, to a bowl venue. He’s an iron man on long trips. For seven years, running, he reminds me, “ Bowl season is a terrible time to give up cannabis.”

I also wish to thank all the coaches who shaped and inspired me through my two-and-a-half year athletic career, the entirety of the residents of Clovis, New Mexico, and the cast of Gilligand’s Island (God rest their souls.)

In making this decision, I have held near to me the wisdom passed on to me by my Father. He once said that it took a big man to openly cry; but that it took an even bigger man to openly laugh at the big man who was crying.

Please respect my decision!

And Go Big Blue!

How much NIL is involved in your decision?

What a heartfelt post. I’m speechless. Stop by on your way to Nashville, I’ll check your tire pressure and provide a squirrel-chopped blue Herron salad for free. Thank me later.

Now that’s what I like to hear.
Someone who stays true and honors their commitment to their team, coaches and fellow fans.
So many are opting out to prepare for the NFL playoffs.
Congrats young man and we are proud you wear UK Blue.

Thank you Hack for your courage and your true commitment. You deserve some kind of an award. Not sure what that is yet but it should be named in your honor. I think you belong with all the rest of the great ones that decided to “stick in there”! As Jim Nance said, “Better than most!”

My biggest concern for you is north Tennessee weather on New Year’s Eve day with potential highs in the mid 20’s which gives Iowa the advantage since they used to that. Meanwhile, I have to go back the hood of bowl games at camping world stadium. Will make the trek thru broken glass, trash piles, stash houses, and used needles with steel toe boots and elbow length welders gloves on.
Keep an eye on your brother Hack and best to the Wildcats, please don’t lose to a big ten team and we will do our best to blast an ACC team 🍺

I love that "respect my decision" has become a thing. It pretty much shuts the door on any possible response you might have otherwise received. It's become the new "False."

Yes.

We must tread the frozen tundra of upper-South football, whilst the Bayou Bengals must endure the Afghanistan-like inner-city of Orlando.

Potentially hellish results for each.

I’m sure Stoops will be preparing our team by throwing snowballs in preparation.

Better hope you don't trip climbing those stadium stairs. I hear those meaningless games can be a killer to your health.
