Due to the 8-10 inches of snow we got in Lexington overnight, UK and Murray State won’t play on Tuesday. They will attempt to reschedule the game.

UK’s next game will be Friday at Arkansas.

OK by me, don't think 2 mid week games helped our bullpen this weekend, although in the end, we did not lose the game on Sunday due to a bad relief appearance.

I am on the fence about it. After Sunday I would kind of like another game to get our eyes right and get back to seeing beachball sized baseballs. However, I also don't mind us taking a few days to actually rest the arms. So, I guess it kind of is what it is.

I think we're going to the Saturday and Sunday games in Fayetteville. Just a two hour drive for us. Hoping the men's basketball team wins Thursday night and has a Saturday evening game, not afternoon, so that there's not a conflict.
Last time we were in Fayetteville, it was to see Joker's last team play a horrible game amidst some awful thunderstorms. Less than three quarters of the game were played due to the storms. The best part of that trip was getting to visit with Avery Williamson's parents under the stands during the lightening delays. Super people who raised a great son.

Don't they, to a certain degree, use the younger, less experienced pitchers on midweek games, especially this early in the season? So the guys that would have pitched against Murray St. probably wouldn't be used against Arkansas, would they? I am not just talking about the starters but even the relievers.

It just depends. That's the goal, but sometimes if you get behind or you need some hard outs you go to pitchers you trust. Still, most would be fine to go on Friday unless they pitched most the game. So, it's not a huge deal as much as we just kind of has a rough last week with 5 games, three really tough ones.
